– Session “Carolingian manuscripts lost: The potential of Early Modern editions and copies for their reconstruction” (10 July 2025) with two presentations by Capitularia team members:
- “Jacques Sirmond’s knowledge of palaeography and Early Medieval Latin as a resource for reconstructing the lost Carolingian law-books from Beauvais and Laon” by Grigorii Borisov
- “Almost lost in transmission: Alexandre Wiltheim and the Annales Maximiniani” by Sören Kaschke
– As part of the MGH Herbstakademie “Frühmittelalterliches Recht: Überlieferung und Edition” Sören Kaschke and Britta Mischke provide an insight into the editing of Capitularies. To wrap up the event, Daniela Schulz will provide an overview of digital resources in the field of legal history. (15-19 September 2025, Munich)
